According to the World Economic Forum’s Global Risks Report 2026, biodiversity loss and the collapse of ecosystems are among the most serious global risks over the next decade and are becoming increasingly relevant for businesses too. The Global Nature Fund (GNF) workshop is taking place as part of the ‘Biodiversity Risks in the Upstream Supply Chain’ project, funded by the Funk Foundation, and provides an insight into initial findings on nature-related risks in textile supply chains. The focus is on regulatory requirements, illustrative risks and approaches to action, as well as a discussion on how companies are already addressing the issue and where the greatest challenges lie.
